Curriculum

At Lady Elizabeth Hastings’, we aim for all our pupils to have access to a broad and balanced curriculum. Our plans are designed to maximise children’s academic achievement, support physical development and foster personal, social, emotional, moral, mental, spiritual and cultural development in both a supportive and challenging way so that they can live and learn in the light of God and ‘let your light shine’ (Matthew 5:16). On this page, you can see our overarching curriculum intent and our long-term plan for our thematic curriculum with the 'Big Question' for each half-term and our core texts. We use the Read Write Inc Phonics scheme.
