Welcome

Dear Parents and Carers

Thank you for taking time to find out about Lady Elizabeth Hastings,’ Thorp Arch as you consider your choice of primary education for your child.  On behalf of the children, staff and governors may I offer you a warm welcome to our school.

Lady Hastings’ provides a positive and welcoming environment with high standards of pastoral care. The inspiring curriculum provides high quality learning and enables our children to flourish.  Our Vision of ‘Let your light shine’ provides the framework for all aspects of school life and underpins the daily experience for everyone in our school. Central to our vision is ensuring that every member of our community is encouraged to recognise and develop their gifts. Christian values underpin our curriculum and all aspects of school life - our core values being Respect, Compassion, Courage and Friendship.  In October 2022 we were recognised as a ‘Good’ Church of England School in our SIAMS inspection.

Individual children and their families are important to us. The needs of our children always come first and we work closely with parents building positive relationships that help contribute to the work we do. We recognise the importance of working in partnership with parents and carers and strive to ensure opportunities for parents to be involved in school life.

Visiting our school is the ideal way to experience and explore our vision for yourself. All our visits are personalised to suit visitors and can be arranged by contacting the school office at office@thorparch-leh.co.uk /01937 842566.

We would be delighted to show you around Lady Elizabeth Hastings’ School and we look forward to welcoming you soon.
